I updated successfully for four weeks which I feel proud of myself for doing. Also I’m surprisingly on top of my school work for once. I will shoot to update on time next week in the meantime here is a current screen shot of the next page, proof that I am working on it.
I have successfully updated on time this month. I’d like to keep this pace going. And good news to everyone who has been following Sur there are only four pages left! Thanks for hanging for supporting me!
I’m starting my final year at SVA and I’m taking less classes this year so hopefully I will actually have time to keep updating on a semi-regular basis. I am still thinking of doing MOCCA Fest again next year because I had such a lovely time. Thanks for sticking with me fans!!
This past weekend I displayed at MoCCA Fest sponsored by the Society of Illustrators. I had a lot of fun and successfully sold enough to justify buying the table. I look forward to do it again next year.
Just completed page 6 of Sur and working on page 7. I’m going for two weeks in a row for regular updates. Lets see if I can make it!
That Sur will be completed soon despite my lack of updates this summer. I also swear that you will at least see the title page of City of Demons and maybe another project I am working on. The reason for the delay is I made a promise to my mother that I would finish her wine labels. You can check them out over at my deviant art page. Just click on the Deviant Art logo in the menubar at the top. Also, I am working on getting promotional material done for Leaky Con. And I won a t-shirt design contest for Leaky Con earlier this summer. Lastly, I have been writing a smut novel that I intend to publish under my pen name at Lucky Fish Press LLC. So I have not been doing nothing, it’s just that it is summer and I don’t get a chance to do these types of things during the school year. But I assure you that my main focus is to finish Sur this week. Also check out my previous blog post about net neutrality, it is imperative to the survival of Lucky Fish Press that it is ensured. WITHOUT YOUR VOICE, LUCKY FISH COMICS WILL BE DONE!! The FCC considering to strike down Net Neutrality makes me angry because in our time information is power. If Net Neutrality fails, it will ensure that the wealthy have all the information. That means this is a way for rich white men to stay rich and white. The people without the money will not have access to free information. This is like saying only wealthy people can check out from the library and the wealthier you are the more books you can check out. Poor people who typically are women and minorities will be shut out from the ability to raise themselves out of poverty. Education and information is the number one enemy of poverty. The United States of America will thrive when even the poorest of us can rise above poverty. We will remain a strong country if our people have the ability to educate themselves. Net Neutrality is a violation of free speech and freedom of information. The failure of Net Neutrality violates my free speech to start my online comic promoting stories about women and minorities. The Chinese government has restrictions on their people’s usage of the internet. The failure of Net Neutrality is the same. Please take the time to write a short letter to the FCC at Dear FCC.org. |
After a very crazy and awful semester I needed a break from comics. Now that I’ve played through the Uncharted series and enjoy time playing Mario Kart with my sister it is time to continue with this web comic. I’m building up work for the coming weeks. Hell or high water I will update on time next week as well. I will eventually be able to do regular updates and also do a story of my own in the near future. Also I figured out how to fix the pixelization problem so now the pages look smoother. Meanwhile please enjoy!

The end of the semester is coming and this webcomic is one of my final projects.
